Denver, Colo., March 15,2022 -- Advanced Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: AEIS) -- a global leader in highly engineered precision power conversion, measurement and control solutions -- today introduced the Artesyn LCC1200 series of fan-less, conductive, cooling AC-DC power supplies. The LATEST addition to Advanced Energy's LCC family, the LCC 1200 delivers up to 1200W of power output and up to 93.5% efficiency in a compact form factor. These new power supplies are ideal for industrial applications, including outdoor LED digital signage, traffic light equipment, industrial lighting, telecommunications antennas, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions.

Unlike other power supplies on the market that require output derating above 55 ° C, the LCC 1200 can maintain its 1200W full load capacity at floor temperatures from -40 ° C to 85 ° C without forced air cooling. With a power density of 15 W/in3 (one of the highest in the industry), the LCC 1200 enables customers to save space and reduce total system costs.Active current sharing is supported and up to three units can operate in parallel to support higher load requirements.

"Designed specifically for applications requiring higher uptime, the LCC 1200 provides a reliable and more cost-effective alternative to customers who would otherwise require larger or more power sources,""By replacing multiple power supplies required for high-power applications, the LCC 1200 minimizes the risk of system failure," said Joe Voyles, vice president of product marketing for Industrial Power conversion at Advanced Energy.

The LCC 1200 series is only 4.5x11x1.57 inches in size and comes in IP 20 and IP 65 grades. The IP65 version is mounted in a fully sealed rugged housing that prevents dust and water from entering, making it ideal for fanless outdoor and enclosed industrial applications.

The LCC 1200 series features a universal 90-264 Vac input and can be used anywhere in the world without adjustment. These power supplies have a wide adjustable range of 28 or 24 Vdc single output as well as 5V standby voltage output. The LCC 1200 series is fully compliant with the international IEC 62368-1 ITE safety standard and has obtained cUL, CE, UKCA and CCC certification. The built-in PMBus™ interface provides flexible and comprehensive digital communication with the ability to control and monitor voltage, current, temperature and report fault conditions. The LCC 1200 has a calculated average trouble-free time of over 2 million hours and comes with a three-year warranty.
