Beijing, China -- Analog Devices,Inc.(ADI) has introduced the DS28E30 1-Wire ECDSA Security Authenticator, a cost-effective solution for detecting and protecting products from counterfeiting or abuse. The device can be integrated into existing or new designs as simply and easily as possible through a fixed-function cryptographic toolbox, secure storage of keys and application data, and a single-touch 1-wire interface based on the industry standard FIPS 186 Elliptic Curve digital signature algorithm (ECDSA).
The DS28E30 provides a variety of safety features that enable the use and management of tools, sensors and other peripherals with limited life. These include monotonous, non-resettable decrement counters; An optional ecdsa-protected 1Kb EEPROM is used to store application data including terminal product life cycle information.
DS28E30 main features:
Challenge/Response authentication based on FIPS 186 ECDSA-P256
Single pin 1-Wire interface to minimize interconnection requirements
Each device uses ADI public key certificate set by factory programming to ensure that the product is genuine
3Kb secure EEPROM, used to store user memory, keys, and certificates
Wide operating voltage range: 1.62V-5.25V, -40℃ to +85℃
1.2mm x 1.4mm 4 Solder ball WLP small package, 0.5mm pitch
